Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. About these terms
Garage University (“we”, “us”) is a learning platform built on Garage. These terms cover your use of Garage University — its courses and certificates, the jobs board, chats, your Vault (wallets and payments) and everything else in the app. By creating an account or using Garage University you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Give accurate information when you complete your profile, and keep it up to date.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it or sign in as someone else.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Garage University.
3. Courses and certificates
- When you enrol in a course you get a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own learning.
- Don't copy, record, resell or share course videos, files or quizzes, or share access with others.
- A certificate shows that you completed a course on Garage University. It isn't an academic degree or a professional accreditation unless the course says otherwise.
- Course creators are responsible for their course content. We may update or remove courses.
4. Payments and your Vault
- Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes such as GST are added where they apply and shown on your invoice.
- Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Razorpay). We don't store your full card or bank details.
- Store Vault credits can be spent on Garage. Credits, commissions and rewards follow the rules shown in the app, which may change.
- Withdrawals are paid to the payout account you set, on the schedule you choose; fees shown in the app apply.
- For a refund, contact us. Refunds are handled under the terms shown at purchase and as required by law.
5. Jobs
- When you apply for a job, your application — including your answers and any resume you attach — is shared with that employer.
- Employers are responsible for their job listings and hiring decisions. We don't guarantee interviews, offers or employment.
- Garage never asks candidates to pay to apply. Report any listing that does.
6. Chats and your content
- You own what you post — messages, files, reviews and profile content. You allow us to store and show it as needed to run Garage University.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate, spam, scams, illegal content, or content you don't have the right to share.
- We may remove content or limit accounts that break these rules.
7. Referrals and rewards
Referral links, affiliate commissions, coupons and cashback are offered under the rules shown in the app. Rewards gained through fake accounts, self-referral or other abuse may be cancelled.
8. Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of Garage University.
- Don't scrape or copy the service or other people's data, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
- Don't use Garage University for anything illegal.
9. Third-party services
Some features rely on other services (for example payments, video and file storage). Their own terms also apply when you use them.
10. Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep Garage University available and accurate, but it's provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
11. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Garage University at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Using Garage University after a change means you accept the updated terms.
